What a diverse itinerary packed with culture and amazing landscapes. We explored classic Beijing spots, ventured out to Tangshan, and spent two days enjoying Gubei Water Town and Simatai Great Wall. Riding the rickshaw through Shichahai hutongs was such a memorable experience. Having a free day with different activity picks was fantastic for customising the trip to our own interests. Airport pickup and drop-off worked perfectly, making arrival and departure stress-free.
We really enjoyed this well-rounded travel plan covering Beijing and surrounding areas. From grand imperial landmarks and ancient alleyways to the historic sites in Tangshan and the magical Gubei Water Town. The rickshaw ride in Shichahai was a lovely way to experience old Beijing atmosphere. Simatai Great Wall’s scenery was breathtaking. We appreciated having a free day with multiple activity options, though tickets and guide service were not included for that day. All transport connections were well organised throughout the trip.
